For global leaders who feel invisible and stuck, and are ready to turn their multicultural identity into a strategic leadership advantage.
Leadership scripts were written with a very specific leader in mind. Usually this person is privileged, male, white, and speaks only English.
Everyone else is trying to fit into that shoebox. They twist and turn and contort themselves until they cannot do it anymore. Yet no matter how much they squeeze, it still feels like they are falling short.
You have been an expert at the shape-shifting required to survive corporate settings. You have worked hard and earned success — in a country that was not yours, in a language that is not your first, and a system that was not built to help you succeed.
Yet, you have hit a plateau. Maybe a promotion has gone to someone else and you have started wondering if you will ever fit in enough. Is it possible to lead without burnout and pressure? Can work feel like your playground instead of a battlefront? Can your authenticity be a differentiating edge?
If you have been asking yourself these questions, this program is the right fit for you.
I got interested in leadership because I wanted to understand how power and influence is systematically withheld from certain groups. So I did a PhD on it and spent over a decade studying it. The more I study leadership, the more convinced I am that the most important questions are the ones we rarely ask: why do you want to lead, how does it connect to who you are, and whose model of leadership are you following?
I am curious about people who choose to lead, even when they don't feel like a leader. People who have been unafraid to break stereotypes and walk away from what is familiar. I know them well, because I have been that person.
Over the last twenty years, I have built my own life in the margins — of places, races, and languages. I have lived and worked in five countries — and found my home where I least expected it.
I am currently based in Paris, where I am a professor at IÉSEG School of Management, raising a multilingual family with my husband and our son.
Working with Dr Gouri Mohan has been a masterclass in self-discovery. Most executive coaching stays at the surface level — Gouri goes much deeper. I'm coming away not just a better leader, but a more self-assured person. I cannot recommend her enough for anyone ready to do the real transformation work.
Every session is tailored to your unique context, moving you through three interconnected dimensions of leadership development.
Building clarity about who you are — between what you have inherited and what you have encountered. Sifting through your experiences to craft your story, so that you can bring greater authenticity and empathy to how you lead.
Learning through acting. Experimenting with new scripts, acting on your emerging identity with conviction, and wearing the confidence of knowing who you are. See that confidence work wonders — for you and for your teams.
Relationships act as a mirror to the self, reflecting and reshaping who we are. It is in relation to others that we turn information into action, idea into reality, and identity into experience. Creating a community that can mirror your multitudes back to you is paramount in this journey.
I am currently working with a small founding group. That means my full attention, a program shaped in real time around your situation, and a founding rate that reflects this early stage of the work.
